What we say

Six Senses Laamu

This is a food lovers' paradise. Picture gourmet dishes cooked to perfection, tantalizing wines and cheeses set before you, the sweetest of the sweet dessert cravings satisfied.... yes, this is what goes down at Six Senses Laamu.

Located in the southern atoll in the Maldives, this is the holiday venue of your dreams.

Six Senses Laamu

Enjoy superb Japanese dishes usually served at the best Japanese restaurants the world over, the most delectable international and fusion fare- all served in one location so that you don't have to traverse from restaurant to restaurant looking to satisfy your appetite. All the restaurants at Six Senses are situated in one area in close proximity to each other to make your culinary journey that much easier.
Don't forget to also try the Leaf Restaurant accessible via jungle-style rope-bridge on the second floor. It's a Vietnamese restaurant complete with live cooking stations. The food here is just yum!

And you absolutely cannot leave without a visit to the Laamu Ice Cream Corner and Chocolate House. Be sure to taste the pandan and burned milk-flavoured ice creams.

The resort also boasts of a zero-carbon menu, so be sure to ask about that. It features yummy delicacies such as Maldivian spiced tuna tartar, tuna sashimi, lobster and more.

Six Senses Laamu
Luxury and Nature

You can bike around the island, walk along the pristine white-sandy beaches, enjoy a movie at the Jungle Cinema, or even opt for a relaxing spa treatment at a beautifully-designed spa nest that is literally a nest on the beach.

Six Senses Laamu really does take it to the next level! Imagine a double-sided television that can be watched from both the living room and the bathroom… That’s exactly what you get at the Ocean Water Villa at Six Senses Laamu. The beautiful design of the villa includes a spacious sundeck with glass fences so you can enjoy a clear view of the ocean beyond, an attic with sofa, a transparent, glass-bottom bathtub and more.

The Family Beach Villa is perfect for families with children as it comes with a separate children's room and pull-out beds, etc.

The resort allows for a different type of holiday experience where you are in the lap of luxury, but close to Mother Nature at the same time.

Six Senses Laamu
Have Fun!

And of course, what's a Maldives holiday without the water-sports? Do some wakeboarding, kayaking, surfing, speed boating or learn from experienced instructors. The perfect place to try out some new stuff, Six Senses Laamu does not disappoint.

For those who like the traditional methods of relaxing, there is a whole day island hopping experience, local island excursion where you meet the local people and can even purchase some souvenirs, a private picnic on a deserted island, sunset dolphin cruise, sunbathing on a sandbank and the list is endless... This is what real holidaying looks like!

Six Senses Laamu also celebrates its "Maldivianness" in style. Throughout the year they have cultural celebrations and events that they invite every guest to be a part of.

What a way to pack on the memories!

Six Senses Laamu

The resort is also the perfect venue for the most romantic weddings. Couples love Six Senses Laamu because they provide everything necessary to tie the knot in style, including the most picturesque settings and lovely honeymoon packages. The staff takes all the worries of planning your big day off your shoulders so that you are free to enjoy the day as you should.

Live, Love, Laugh. Six Senses Laamu makes it all possible!

Excitement with fascinating Mantas

This is a project launched to coordinate research and conservation of Mantas in the Maldives, and now the Six Senses Laamu is a part of this amazing project. The exciting part?? Well, if you are an experienced diver, you can join this project's team and learn how to dive into the spots where Mantas are found in abundance.

This needs to be done in a sustainable manner so you will be given special instructions. Each Manta is identified individually for their uniqueness, much like identifying people with their fingerprints. These identified creatures are named and labelled to keep monitoring their wellbeing and behaviour. The coolest part is that, if you identify one during your dive, you get to name your very own Manta! Exciting right? What an amazing way to conserve these intriguing species...

Have you heard of The Maldivian Manta ray project?
