Offering panoramic views of Mahe’s western seaboard, this trail starts at the edge of a tea plantation and then on to a cinnamon forest that has some rare botanical specimen such as Vacoa parasol (pandanus hornei) Vacoa marron (Seychelles latanyen Hauban (Roschera Melanochetes) capusin North Hornie). You will also come across exotic fruit trees such as Jackfruit and Rose apple trees and the further you go the forest becomes moist with rocks and trees being covered by moss and floors covered with fern. This little excursion is ideal for the nature lover as it covers some of the most stunning views of the south and west of Mahe.
