These Terms and Conditions ("Term""), including any revised terms that we may post from time to time, state the terms and conditions under which we provide you with various services on www.ovholidays.com website (the "Site"), owned and operated by Viluxur Private Limited on behalf of its affiliates OV, These Terms (which also incorporate our Privacy Policy) are a legally binding agreement between you and Viluxur and govern your use of this Site as well as all accommodations, transportation, services and activities included in the Resort stays described on our Site ("Services"). BY ACCESSING, BROWSING, AND/OR USING OUR SITE AND/OR SERVICES ON THE WEBSITE AND/OR BY MAKING A CONFIRMED RESERVATION ON OUR SITE, YOU ARE DEEMED TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND BY ALL TERMS, POLICIES AND GUIDELINES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE, WHILST USING OUR SITE, SERVICES AND DURING YOUR STAY. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time in our sole discretion. Each time changes are made to these Terms, a revised set of Terms will be posted on the reservation page for OV. Please check them regularly to take notice of any changes. Your continued use of our Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of any such changes. These Terms and Conditions apply to all transportation, accommodations, packages, services and activities included in the trips described on our Site.. By making a reservation for a trip described in our Site, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions as applicable to that trip.

Disclaimers

As a condition of your use of this Website, you warrant to OV Holidays that you will not use this Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. Although OV may from time to time monitor or review discussions, chats, postings, transmissions, bulletin boards, and the like on this Website, we are under no obligation to do so and assumes no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any such locations nor for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information within such locations on the Website. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.

No Show / Failure to Cancel

Each resort booked through OV, is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the resort booked.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to our terms & conditions.

If a guest chooses to shorten their stay or check out early a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the resort booked.

Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, OV shall not be responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non performance of obligations under this Terms and Conditions.

Birthday & Anniversary Discount Redemption Terms

1. Valid for a period of 12 calendar months from the date of the greeting email
2. Can be redeemed only once per booking
3. Only one member of the same travel party could claim the discount per booking
4. Applicable only for new bookings and can not be applied to existing bookings or amendments
5. Not applicable to bookings that are on sale or already on a discount of 40% or more
6. Not valid for stays over Christmas and New Year Period or Easter Holidays period

CHANGING YOUR TRAVEL DUE TO COVID-19

First and foremost, our hearts are with those who have been affected by COVID-19.

We are also delighted to let you know that all International Travellers are welcome in the Maldives again with effective Covid-19 related government protocols in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

  • On-arrival visas are still available for all tourists, and visa extensions are available for any long-stay holidaymakers. For your free 30-day on-arrival tourist visa, you have to provide:

  • A confirmed hotel booking, sufficient funds and confirmed return ticket.

  • Health Declaration Form x 2 (on arrival and prior to departure).

  • A negative PCR test conducted less than 96 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure from the first port of embarkation enroute to the Maldives.

  • Infants less than 12 months old are exempt from this requirement. Travelers who have a transit of 24 hours or more during their journey are required to redo their PCR test prior to arrival in the Maldives

  • Under current circumstances, tourists may visit other operational resorts subject to prior approval from the Ministry of Tourism. You are advised to inform the prior so that we may facilitate the approval process via the resorts.
