I began my journey as a marine biologist in some of the world's most prestigious resorts in the Maldives. But despite the breathtaking surroundings, I felt something was missing. It wasn't until I met Nisha, the advocate for sustainable travel, that I realized what that missing piece was. Her passion for responsible travel initiatives with OV Club resonated with me deeply. I knew I had to be a part of it.
Fortunately, Shafraz; the founder, shared our vision. Together, with like-minded individuals, we set out to make a difference. I transitioned into a role at OV, where, under Nisha's guidance, we are initiating to promote responsible travel in the Maldives. Our program, Conscious Paradise, aims to bring purpose to travel and raise awareness among our travelers.
Over the past two years, I've visited over 20 resorts in the Maldives, studying their approach to responsible travel. Each resort has its own unique way of creating extraordinary experiences while respecting the environment. Now, we're working on bringing this new dimension to all our members.
